The Lenten season is a time when many Christians observe a period of fasting, repentance, moderation, self-denial and spiritual discipline. The purpose is to set aside time for reflection on Jesus Christ - his suffering and his sacrifice, his life, death, burial, and resurrection. At St. Mark's, one of the ways we observe Lent is by the Stations of the Cross, a devotional commemoration of Christ's carrying the Cross and of his execution. Let us observe and reflect during this time of Lent to follow our calling to be better disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. Invite your friends and family and check out the schedule for more details.
